Welcome to Trans-Border, Loretta Roddy

Please give a warm welcome to the newest member of our export operations team – Loretta Roddy! Loretta is excited to begin her role here at Trans-Border as it is her first step into the world of freight forwarding!

Loretta grew up in the Saratoga Springs, NY region and has a four-year-old daughter. In college, she studied criminal justice. Loretta has spent several years in retail and banking prior to joining the team. Expanding her knowledge about the logistics industry is what she is looking forward to the most. Her interactions with the team have been great so far, “the environment here is noticeable the second you walk in the door,” she says.

In her free time Loretta stays busy by writing her first book. She is working on a fictional novel and hopes to have it completed and published by the end of 2023! When she isn’t working or writing, Loretta enjoys experiencing new things with her daughter. Just the other day they both rode go-karts for the first time! They also enjoy hiking and going on mini road-trip adventures.

Her favorite place to travel to is Atlantis – The Bahamas Resort on Paradise Island. If she had a yacht, she would name it Luna because she is a big moon person. And even though her own novel doesn’t have a title just yet, if she wrote a memoir, she would name it Reset at Dawn.

A motto that Loretta lives by is “The choices you make, make you!”
