Welcome to Trans-Border, Corey Rybicki

 In Company News, New Hires

Everyone please welcome the newest member of our import operations team — Corey Rybicki! Corey is excited to begin her role here at Trans-Border as it is her first step into the world of freight forwarding!

Corey grew up in Duanesburg on a small farm with horses but she has lived all over the capital region and even lived up north in Plattsburgh for a few years. Corey has years of experience in retail management and is excited to learn about a new industry as well as see behind the curtain of how the items she used to take inventory on actually make their way to the stores/destinations.

In her free time Corey likes to take her dog, whom she says she is obsessed with, and go on hikes. If she could travel to a fictional place she would travel to Hogwarts, the real one not the one at Universal Studios in Orlando. Her favorite movie since she was a kid is Walt Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, the 1951 animated version and she loves the line from it “But that’s just the trouble with me. I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it.” If she wrote a book about her own life she would title it “Positively Resilient”

Fun fact about Corey is that she loves Karaoke and used to go all the time when she lived up in Plattsburgh. She even met her husband of 3 years at a Karaoke night.

We are happy to have Corey at Trans-Border! Stop by Corey’s desk or drop him a welcome message at crybicki@tbgfs.com.
