Welcome to Trans-Border, Bryan Hooley

 In Company News, New Hires

Please give a warm welcome the newest member of our import operations team – Bryan Hooley!  Bryan has 25 years of experience in the logistics industry and will be joining Trans-Border as our new Import Operations Manager.

Bryan was born and raised in New Jersey, right by the shore! He attended Charleston Southern University in South Carolina. After school he headed to Tampa Bay, Florida and started working in logistics. Bryan and his wife have been married for 14 years and they have a beautiful daughter who is 11.

Bryan has experience with steamship lines, NVOCCs, inside sales, pricing, and operations. He has done it all from start to finish and states that “you have to wear a few hats in this industry!” Bryan is very excited to join the TBGFS family. “The environment here is all about the team, it’s everybody working with each other and for each other. That is what I am looking forward to being a part of.”

Bryan’s daughter may have nicknamed him the Old Man, but he stills enjoys playing video games! His current favorite is Clash of Clans, a civilization building strategy game that appeals to his way of thinking. He also has an extremely diverse taste in music and listens to everything you could imagine from The Bee Gees to Creed to Alanis Morissette to ABBA. If Bryan could gain a new skill in 10 minutes, he would love to master cooking. His inspiration derives from the chefs on TV who can whip things up left and right. Bryan believes that “there are so many ways to speak and express – food and music are common mediums that everyone can relate to.”

The best piece of advice Bryan has ever been given is that no amount of money in the world can buy back a minute of time.

We are happy to have Bryan at Trans-Border! Stop by Bryan’s desk or drop him a welcome message at bhooley@tbgfs.com.
