 In Company News, New Hires

Everyone please welcome the newest member of our export operations team — Ben Hydock! Ben comes to Trans-Border with several years of warehouse experience and is looking forward to taking the next step in his logistics career.

Ben attended college at both the Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, NY, and Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, and now holds a Bachelors of Science in Religion. He has since worked as both a HVAC technician and Warehouse Supervisor before landing at Trans-Border.

“I’ve traveled a lot,” Ben explains, “so the geographical and world trade aspect of Trans-Border is very fascinating to me.” He continues on about his experience so far, saying, “the training program has been so well designed so far, and I feel very comfortable in what’s expected of me and what to expect.”

Ben has many hobbies outside of work (one too many, if you ask his wife). Ben is a true outdoorsman spending much of his free time downhill skiing, hiking, and, his most recent obsession, mountain biking. As said before, he is also an avid traveler and has been all over North and Central America, as well as Southeast Asia.

Ben is also deeply engaged in his church, participating in and leading several ministry groups. He even recently started an outdoor adventure ministry group!

Ben lives in Saratoga along with is wife of seven years. We are very excited to welcome Ben to Trans-Border! Drop Ben a welcome message at bhydock@tbgfs.com.
