Welcome to Trans-Border, Ashley Rutz

Please give a warm welcome to the newest member of our import pricing team – Ashley Rutz! Ashley is excited to begin her role here at Trans-Border as it is her first step into the world of freight forwarding! Ashley is originally from Texas, but she moved to Saratoga Springs when she was eight years old. This past May, Ashley graduated from SUNY Cortland with her bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. Ashley says her family inspires her and she is excited for this opportunity to learn about freight forwarding.

In her free time Ashley likes to go golfing and she loves watching college basketball. Her favorite basketball teams are Virginia Tech and Syracuse. If Ashley could have any superpower, she would be a mind reader. If Ashley was stranded on a deserted island she would bring her phone, her dog, and a book with her. Her favorite place to travel is her family’s cottage in the Finger Lakes. Her favorite music artist is Mac Miller. If Ashley could choose three words to describe herself, she would choose caring, hardworking, and passionate.
