Welcome to Trans-Border, Alex DiLaura

Please give a warm welcome to the newest member of our agent pricing team — Alex DiLaura! Alex is excited to begin her role here at Trans-Border and join the world of freight forwarding!

Alex grew up in Corning, NY and has spent the last 10 years in Upstate NY. Her previous role was in management for specialty retail that she describes as the “wild, wild, west.” As a manager, she was responsible for just about everything, including human resources, store planning, and merchandizing. Even though she misses the fast paced, fun atmosphere of retail she is eager to dive into the logistics industry. She has already started looking at trucks differently on her drive home. Alex is most interested in the international aspect of her role.

In her free time you can catch Alex playing the guitar. She has been playing for 17 years and writes her own music. Her goal this summer is to get on stage and perform. In the future she would love to form a punk rock band! If Alex could gain a new skill in 10 minutes she would want to become an expert in music theory so she can play the guitar better. She also enjoys all things spooky and her favorite place to travel to is Salem, MA.

A motto that Alex lives by is “Don’t take anything too seriously!”
