USTR Releases Additional Product Exclusions for List 3 Products
The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) released additional product exclusions for Section 301 List 3 products.
The new set of tariff exclusions contain 83 HTS subheadings partially excluded from 25% tariffs, covering 95 separate requests. This round of exclusions will retroactively apply to all List 3 products meeting the specified criteria effective September 24, 2018 up through August 7, 2020.
As was the case with previous exclusions, importers with eligible products are able to claim exemption under the new exclusions regardless of whether the importer filed an exclusion request.
