USTR Announces List 4A Tariff Reduction to 7.5% on February 14

The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) released a notice announcing that the tariff rate on List 4A products will reduce to 7.5% on February 14, 2020. This reduction is part of the Phase One trade agreement ratified last week between the U.S. and China.

The Phase One agreement, which covers a range of topics from intellectual property rights to currency manipulation, includes a purchase of an additional $200 billion in American exports by China.
