Hong Kong Airport Closed Due to Protests
As of August 12, Hong Kong city officials cancelled all flights to and from the city until further notice citing continued city-wide protests. Today is the fourth day of airport sit-ins by anti-government protestors in Hong Kong, with participants flooding both terminals bringing air travel to a halt. At this point, it is unknown as to when the airport will resume regular service.
Trans-Border will be in touch should any of the cancellations apply to your shipment(s). If you have any questions, please reach out to Bill Carey, Import Compliance Manager, at bcarey@tbgfs.com or (800) 493-9444.
