On August 13, 2015, Port Tianjin, the largest, busiest port in Northern China has suffered from a devastating explosion. At least 56 people have been killed and hundreds of others are severely injured. The port itself has resumed some operations, but there are inevitably going to be delays. The damage, resulting from what is believed to be a hazardous materials mishap is extensive and truckers and steamship lines alike are experiencing interruptions in their service.
