Eggs, Home Fries, Toast & Vodka….

Quarterly Newsletter - January 2017

It’s here 2017!!  Time for resolutions in regard to weight, work and other life changes.  Good luck to everyone as all changes must start with a thought.

I am not a big breakfast out eater, but when I do I typically order the same thing – two eggs over medium, crispy home fries and dry Rye toast.  I typically receive – 2 eggs over easy, soggy home fries and rye toast with butter.  Humm – why is it so difficult for an order to be followed?  Where is the loss of communication?  It seems so simple yet unfortunately even in a breakfast order of only 3 simple things – all 3 arrive not as I order.  I never send food back as I worked as a waiter for 15 years and know what happens in the kitchen!

When I go to a bar and order a drink – typically a vodka with club soda, with no fruit( one of the dirtiest things in a bar ) or straw I receive something different.  I receive a vodka and club soda with a fruit and straw.  Humm – why is it so difficult for an order to be followed?  Where is the loss of communication?  It seems so simple yet unfortunately even in ordering a drink it arrives not as ordered.  I never send a drink back – never. I drink it!

At Trans-Border we listen to what you request.  Our job is to provide you what you order by paying attention to details, listening and caring enough to realize that we need to satisfy your unique requirements.  Listening to and satisfying details are a key aspect of the service we provide.  We all have specific requests and at Trans-Border we realize the key to success is getting the small details correct as they add up to large successes.

At Trans-Border we move more than your freight – we are moving your ideas, your visions, your profit, your technology and your money.   Time to place your order and when we deliver it we will make sure that the toast is dry and there is no fruit in your drink!

Wishing everyone a safe, happy & healthy 2017.
