Allison Burak is Trans-Border’s Director of Business Development & Process Management. Allison has been with Trans-Border for 15 years and now oversees business development, operational infrastructure, and project management throughout the company.
Allison holds a bachelor’s in communications from Le Moyne College and was named Trans-Border’s Employee of the Year in 2013. In her spare time, Allison volunteers with and advocates for homelessness initiatives in the region.

Sumar Bhatti serves as Trans-Border’s Director of Freight Operations. Sumar has 15 years of supply chain experience in the U.S. and Pakistan. Beginning in Trans-Border’s import operations department, Sumar now oversees the daily management of all of Trans-Border’s operations, pricing, and brokerage departments.
Sumar holds a bachelor’s in international business and was named Trans-Border’s Employee of the Year in 2015. Sumar also serves as a youth leader and head usher at his church, City Harvest Family Church.

Yateen “Yatz” Patel serves as Trans-Border’s Director of Export Compliance. Yateen has nearly 20 years of supply chain experience in both the U.S. and U.K. and is responsible for Trans-Border’s export law compliance, regulatory affairs, and insurance and risk management.
Yateen holds a bachelor’s in business IT and multimedia. Yateen is also one of Trans-Border’s most public faces, providing consulting and training services to our clients regularly.

Kevin Calkins serves as Trans-Border’s Director of Information Technology & Systems Management. Kevin has been with Trans-Border for 15 years working in a variety of operational and IT roles, now leading Trans-Border’s technology management and implementation.
Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from SUNY Plattsburgh and is a CargoWise Certified Specialist through WiseTech Global. Kevin was named Trans-Border Employee of the Year in 2014.

Joshua Spiegel is one of the partners and founders of Trans-Border currently serving as its Chief Financial Officer. Joshua has industry experience spanning 30 years and has dealt with nearly every aspect of the logistics industry. His primary focus at this time is U.S. Customs Brokerage, international agent relations, and company finance. Josh is also a licensed U.S. Customs Broker.
Joshua holds a bachelors in English literature from Ithaca College.

Brunilda Carroll serves as a Strategic Account Manager at Trans-Border. Brunilda has held a range of positions in her eight-year journey at Trans-Border, most recently serving as Export Operations Manager before moving into her current role. As Strategic Account Manager, Brunilda serves a unique business development role negotiating and overseeing rates for import and export clients.
Brunilda holds an associate degree in medical assisting and a bachelor’s degree in communications. Brunilda was named Trans-Border’s Employee of the Year in 2018.

Dianne Klamm has been with Trans-Border for over 20 years and now serves as our Director of Sales. Troy Goergen is an account executive at Trans-Border located near Rochester, NY. Troy has been with Trans-Border for nearly a decade providing effective logistics solutions and top-notch customer service to our Rochester-area clients.
Troy’s sales territory includes western New York from Utica to Buffalo, and stretches up to the Canadian border around Lake Ontario.
Troy earned his MBA and bachelor’s degrees from St. John Fisher College. He was recognized as Trans-Border’s Salesperson of the Year in 2017.

Damien Jarrett is an account executive at Trans-Border located in Salem, MA. Damien has over 10 years of experience in logistics sales and operations across the U.K. and U.S. Damien has been with Trans-Border for almost a year and is already bringing immense value to our clients.
Damien’s sales territory extends through most of New England, beginning in Connecticut and stretching all the way north through Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine.
Damien received his APICS equivalent in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport in the U.K. Damien is an active member of his local chapter of Business Network International (BNI) and coaches youth and high school football in his community.
