Welcome to Trans-Border, Leeza Nanandhan!

 In Company News, New Hires

Please extend a warm welcome to the newest member of our import operations team — Leeza Nanandhan. Leeza comes to Trans-Border with several years of supply chain experience and a drive for success!

Leeza is a local native from Schenectady and attended both Russel Sage College and the Sage Colleges of Albany for her undergrad and graduate studies. Leeza initially worked in healthcare, but it did not take long for her to realize that industry was not for her. She decided to take the jump into supply chain and has now served in operational roles at a variety of local companies.

“I’m super excited to meet everyone,” Leeza explains, “everyone has been so nice and helpful, and I really feel very welcome here.” She goes on to describe how her new colleagues have helped her adapt to her role very quickly.

This also is not Leeza’s first role in import operations and she is excited to expand her knowledge and expertise in that arena. “I’ve always been a dreamer,” she describes, “having a purpose and vision is very important to me.”

In her free time, Leeza loves to hike, read, meditate, and, most importantly, travel. She has traveled all over the world, her favorite of which was her visit to Costa Rica. “It’s truly so beautiful, I have trouble describing it.” She is not even close to being done with her travels and touts Bali as her next destination.

If Leeza could impart any wisdom, she highly recommends reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. “Everyone can find something to relate to in that book,” Leeza gushes. We’ll give it a look, Leeza. Thanks for the recommendation!

We are very excited to have Leeza as part of the Trans-Border team! Stop by her desk to say hello or send over a welcome message at lnanandhan@tbgfs.com.
