Welcome to Trans-Border, Bryan Sanchez
Let’s all give a big Trans-Border welcome to the newest member of our export pricing team — Bryan Sanchez. Bryan, equipped with an impressive wit and persistent dedication, is prepared to both succeed and excel in his new role.
Bryan came to mainland U.S. from Puerto Rico in 2015 to pursue his education and seek opportunities. Shortly after arriving, Bryan secured a position in Hudson Valley Community College’s business administration program and a management role at a local Walmart. Escalating quickly through the ranks at Walmart, Bryan eventually left to pursue management roles across several financial and educational institutions in the area. Now, after graduating from HVCC in 2018, Bryan continues his studies at SUNY Cobleskill in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree and is thrilled to start his new position at Trans-Border.
“I believe I’m most excited to meet new people,” Bryan explains, “as well as to practice communicating more regularly in English, especially over the phone and email.” He feels that the collaborative environment in the Trans-Border office has been very welcoming. “Everyone here makes you feel like you’re on the team immediately.”
Seeing where he is going and, maybe more importantly, where he has been, is critical to Bryan. He often reflects on his journey to provide inspiration and remain motivated. From Puerto Rico, to New York, to Miami and back, Bryan’s journey has been illustrious. In fact, one of Bryan’s favorite activities is visiting cities he has never been to. He loves flying and airplanes and is a total sucker for a picturesque nighttime city skyline. His favorite city to this day is Miami, one in which he lived in for a brief time.
We are excited to welcome Bryan to the Trans-Border team and look forward to his success here and beyond. Stop on by his desk and say hello!
