French Fries–Cookies–Reading & Sleeping….Freight
So of course in the New Year, we come up with our resolutions which are going to change our life! I am giving up french fries & cookies as well as making a commitment to read more and get to bed earlier. It’s presently the 5th of January and I haven’t blown it yet – just give me some more time and I am sure I will!
The New Year is a time of hope, though, goal setting and to me at least, most importantly, appreciation. What do we appreciate? What should we appreciate?
Appreciate: to understand the worth or importance of (something or someone): to admire and value (something or someone)
At 50 what I appreciate now is a bit different than when I was 30—ok this will put us all to sleep, blah, blah, blah.
Next random thought that pops into my head is…life – let’s all slow down and realize that we are alive. Then let’s realize that we should appreciate that gift. What we all do with that gift is up to us—some of us will make resolutions, some will fall back into negative thought, some of us will make great positive changes, some of us will be excited and some of us will be afraid.
What does this have to do with freight—nothing, absolutely nothing. Enjoy the gift of life and appreciate it.
We appreciate your support, feedback, energy and business relationship…without it, we would not be pushed to keep improving Trans-Border.
